In order to realise maximum growth and value, we invest selectively and strategically in companies that are established and profitable with good growth prospects.

 

We invest selectively in a variety of businesses, based on:

• South African companies with substantial annual earnings and EBITDA’s above R40-million
• Sub-Saharan African companies with substantial annual earnings and EBITDA’s above US$3-million
• UK based companies with substantial annual earnings and EBITDA’s above GBP2-million
• Profitable and cash generative companies
• Companies with experienced and competent management teams
• Demonstration of market dominance or niche positioning
• Established companies with good growth prospects

We do not invest in:

• Agriculture (with the exception of Agri-processing)
• Mining ventures (with the exception of mining support services)
• Property ventures
• Start-ups and turnarounds
